1st Mission Ride For Me In Awhile

Postby Wilsondude on Mon Jul 05, 2010 8:22 pm

Did my first PGR ride in over two years today, for a decorated WWII Vet who was laid to rest in Brigham City. Made me appreciate again all that our fighting men have done for us. This guy was shot down twice, and lived to tell about it-a real war hero who I sure wish to have bought a beer for. So many of these fine men are dying in large numbers, and will be forever gone from here. It was a wonderful experience, and made me want to become more involved in the future. Of the 75(or so) bikes there was only 1 VTX and a lone Vic rider(me!). Still a great ride, for a great cause.

Thank you for helping honor these veterans, it really is an honor to stand for those who've stood for us.
